This cafe is run by cats which, at one point, were desperate for a loving forever home. Now they are super happy and make everybody else smile.
This perfect little cafe is in Japan, it is so cosy and is run by rescue cats, a perfect and successful ending to their hardship of a life.
The store manager sits in a box, next to the cashier and supervises the shop at all times – like a good manager should. The manager also goes the extra mile and greets the human customers with purrs and cuddles, making sure everybody feels welcome.
Although, in Japan, cats are adored and many cafes and shops have cats in them, but most of them are non-rescues. The cafe is called Neko Cafe Time, it sits in the heart of Kyoto – a gorgeous place in Japan. Rescue cats rule the whole cafe, this not only gives them a new chance at a happier life, but also attracts cat lovers to the cafe – it is a win-win situation and one which we think should be adopted by every other country.
A cafe that supports rescue cats is a very exciting concept and one that is attracting many customers. The cats are living a very happy life as workers in the cafe – giving them an amazing second chance at life. The cats were originally rescued by various local rescue centres and, with a beautiful chance they ended up at Neko Cafe Time, holding the great responsibility of running the shop.
The shop also regularly takes in new cat staff from rescue homes. The newest employees are two white and red kitties who are brothers, who were rescued and nursed back to health recently.
Bob, the store manager, has taught them how to run the shop and how to properly behave as a respected member of staff, Bob is also okay with having to run the shop with another cat, who also holds them name of store manager. He became the store manager automatically became the store manager, he dresses the part – wearing a bowtie and with a very serious face. Despite the hard exterior, he is always very friendly to the customers and doesn’t mind being paid with nose scratches.
Bob the store manager loves his felines staff and treats them all very well, especially Mikan, the calico. Bob and Mikan often call for each other and stay close to each other – all very professionally of course. The staff has their own feeding spot when it comes to dinner time.
The rescue cats love helping people wherever they can, spreading the joy of love through to everybody, after all the love they have received from selfless people. They also make everybody who come into the cafe, leave with a big smile on their face. The kitties are super grateful for the humans who gave them this lovely new life, they love their cafe and feel so lucky to be treated so well by all the customers.
