A rescue cat who lost the ability to walk with his back legs now spends his life helping sick animals and even saving lives.

Lyutsik was only a baby when he came to the animal clinic in Russia, he had fallen out of  a window and suffered bad spine damage and he was paralysed. With help from vets he made an amazing recovery but unfortunately never regained the ability to move his hind legs. Lyutsik was so grateful for all the help he was given by the vets that he now devotes his life to helping the other animals who really need it.

Whenever a seriously ill animal comes into the clinic, he makes his way over to them (despite it being a little bit difficult for him) and gives them the all-important moral support. When an animal is getting injections he also makes sure that he is close by, almost like he is telling them that everything will be okay.

He cuddles up to the patients and keeps them warm and just offers all of them that soft, furry support that everybody craves when they are ill.

Amazingly, Lyutsik is also a blood donor and has saved multiple lives, making sure that his second chance at life helps other animals too – how selfless. He knows exactly what a little bit of love and care, extra help and cuddles can do to help somebody. Many of the animals in the clinic really appreciate his company, he seems to make them a lot more calm and relaxed.

No matter the size, breed or species, the loving kitty cares for them all the same, showing no prejudice to anybody. Every single time a new patient gets checked in, he goes over to them, just to make sure that everything is okay and to assure the new patient that they are in very safe hands.

Despite his disability, he still walks all around the clinic, helping all the others in need, he has survived a horrible ordeal and has made an incredible recovery, he seems to understand what the others are going through. He continues to touch everybody’s hearts with his beautiful heart which just wants to help. He makes sure that everybody has a friend and brings a smile to everybody’s face, even in one of the most heartbreaking places.

He is a very inspiring cat – his disability hasn’t stopped him from living his life to the full, making the most of every second and loving everybody and everything. He is giving back to those who helped him through a very tough time.
